Description:

Tekla Handrail – Speed up the modeling of complex railings made of pipes or L-profiles with this advanced plugin. It allows for direct modifications, meaning you can use arrows and lines to modify the geometry directly within the model.

It took me five months to develop this Tekla handrail plugin, and I’m confident that it’s the most useful plugin I’ve ever created. I focused on addressing common issues that typically consumed a significant amount of modeling time.

To insert a component, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the macro icon.
  2. Select points in the model where you want to place the component.
  3. This same component can also be added to stairs.

This same component can also be added to stairs. You have the flexibility to add segments to the handrail, allowing you to create complex geometries. Furthermore, you can choose different macro ends.

Customizing the top handrail is a breeze. You can easily add points to it and even add, move, or delete handrail posts as needed.

The macro is designed to automatically detect beams in the model and connect itself to them. There’s no need for you to manually select these beams. Additionally, you can specify the handrail-to-beam offset and connect it either to the profile flange or profile web.

It’s worth noting that the program is available in 15 languages for your convenience.
